MK.I 32mm Skill Bands (Going OOP)
Product going ‘Out Of Print’ - MKII Skill Bands now replaces this product.
These bands have been specially designed to fit around the rim of a 32mm base. The fit is snug and easy to install and remove, with just the right amount of elasticity to hold onto the base while in use. Note that this tailored design means they are suitable for 32mm bases with a rim depth of around 4mm, as found with GW bases. I have tested them on thinner bases, and they work, but 4mm is optimal. These skill bands are not tested on any 3rd Party Adapter type bases, and in all likelihood, will not work with them.
These Skill Bands are made from brightly coloured, durable silicone rubber with lettering in a legible, contrasting style. Each skill type, such as Agility or Strength, has a 'base' band colour, allowing you to identify the type of skill by colour alone. In addition to this, the skill name is written clearly in embossed text in a contrasting colour, such as white or black. For those skills that come up frequently—such as Block, Dodge, and Wrestle—I’ve made them stand out even more by giving them an extra burst of colour commonly used within the fantasy football community. This makes them recognisable at a glance, both by colour and name, and should help eliminate in-game confusion or the need to remember which colour represents which skill.
Installing and removing your Skill Bands onto and from your 32mm bases is simple. Just take your Skill Band and apply it to the base by pulling it over the base from underneath. This way, you don't need to pull it over a miniature and the basing materials, risking any damage, dust, or dirt getting onto the inside of the skill band. Check out the video below to see just how easy it is.
USER GUIDELINES:
Keep out of reach of children - may be mistaken for sweets and become a choking hazard.
Do not overstretch the bands - this will cause them not to fit correctly.
Keep clear of dust and dirt - will cause the silicone to lose its grippy characteristic.
Install to bases from the underside - minimises overstretching and is easier to fit this way.
