Casualty Dice 2020

£16.00

Two dice included: one 16-sided moulded red gem and the other a 6-sided engraved white die. You are likely familiar with this mechanic if it's your favourite fantasy football game.

The design of these dice clearly shows the result, avoiding any confusion or mix-up of the two numbers. In an instant, you can discern what’s happened because the sides of the dice are specifically designed this way. If you need more information detailing the seriousness of the injury, refer to the handy, high-quality reference card included with each dice set.

Items Included:

x1 D16
x1 D6 (16mm)
x1 Reference Card

Understanding the Niggling Injury Pips (*) (see reference picture)

There are four Niggling Injury Pips (*): one on Side A and three on Side B. They indicate when you need to check if the player you are rolling against has a Niggle. For example, if you roll a ‘BH’ (Side B, #6) and the player has a Niggling Injury, it would mean a +1 to this roll. That would make it #7 ‘MNG’ (Side A, #7), and the player would be awarded a Miss Next Game result.

The arrangement of Niggling Injury Pips allows you to easily determine the result without flipping the dice to find a particular side. Simply look at the next face to the right of the one you just rolled. This will ALWAYS tell you the result for a player with x1 Niggling Injury. It breaks down like this:

‘MNG*’ (Side A, #9) - Look to the right and you see the result - ‘NI’
‘BH*’ (Side B, #6) - Look to the right and you see the result - ‘MNG’
‘NI*’ (Side B, #12) - Look to the right and you see the result - ‘CROSS’
‘CROSS*’ (Side B, #14) - Look to the right and you see the result - ‘SKULL’

Note: There is a limitation because a player can have more than one Niggling injury. Working out a result for players with more than one Niggling injury can be done by understanding which face of the dice is a certain number. For instance, remember that the side rolled with more Niggling Injury Pips (*) is Side B, and side B represents even numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16.
